New York City . . . . on my way! I'm still trying to book the Statue of Liberty tour and I'm not having much luck. I'm getting nervous that I'm not going to be able to make this work. I think I'm too late in trying to get the monument pass which lets you go up into the pedestal and see up into the statue - and that is what I REALLY wanted to do. I'm now just trying to get onto the island - at least -- and then onto Ellis Island. Hope I make it in . . . . we'll see!

New York/Statue of Liberty
New York City . . . . on my way! I'm still trying to book the Statue of Liberty tour and I'm not having much luck. I'm getting nervous that I'm not going to be able to make this work. I think I'm too late in trying to get the monument pass which lets you go up into the pedestal and see up into the statue - and that is what I REALLY wanted to do.
